Sydney’s North shore is a primarily residential area in northern Sydney, stretching from the north shore of Sydney Harbour up to the northern border of the Ku-ring-gai and is made up of the Lower North Shore and Sydney’s Upper North Shore.
The Lower North Shore includes the area’s largest commercial center in North Sydney and the trendy suburbs of Mosman, Cremorne and Neutral Bay that offer spectacular views of the harbour. In contrast to the densely populated and busier Lower North Shore, the Upper North Shore of Sydney is characterised by less densely populated and leafier residential suburbs, including Killara, Turramurra and St Ives.
